Both of those are hybrids that come from huge orchid growers in Holland Alex . When I first started to import plants from holland the dollar to gilder exchange was such that I paid about 3 dollars a plant (for plants like those 2) for huge plants that were already throwing out 3 to 5 flower spikes . All we did was pot them up . let the flowers develope and turn them over wholesale in the city for as much as 60 to 75 dollars . I had no idea what I had in the old days of the orchid business . It's all changed now and nowhere as profitable as it was in its hey day for small growers like me . The big boys took it over a few years back and now orchids are as cheap as dirt . allan
