Travel by train

I think this picture was from an Amtrak ad or something but I have heard seeing america by train is a great way to go .

My sister and BIL used to take trains all over just for fun . They mentioned one of their nicest trips was the train that goes from NYC to Albany NY . It pretty much follows the Hudson River all the way up . You can do it in a day . And the Hudson up thru NYS is one beautiful river to see .

I looked into train travel across America and for a family of say 4 and getting a private room with a shower and bathroom really wasn't all that expensive .

I forget how much but not much more then 4 air fares across the country .
