Some different orchids Mum


Here's a small variety of different orchids Mum. This is peanuts compared to the thousands and thousands of different species and even more hybrids but it does show a few different types . allan

Some of them look like daffodils. Are they related?

They are only releated by the fact they are both plants . One more bit about orchids , on the evolutionary scale they are one of the most recent plant families. They are generally insect pollinated which might also account for the huge array of different flower types ? ak
